Installation

Install Eclipse

1. Goto  Eclipse Downloads page and download your preferred distribution.
   Axdt is compatible with
   • Eclipse 3.5 - Galileo
   • Eclipse 3.6 - Helios
2. Extract the archive and run Eclipse.

Do not upgrade from old Axdt versions (prior 0.0.8)! Use a fresh Eclipse version! Upgrades are not yet tested.

Install Axdt

There are two ways to install Axdt:

A. Marketplace - only in Helios

1. Open Help > Eclipse Marketplace...
2. Write "Axdt" into the search field and press enter.
3. Click the Install button on the Axdt entry and Finish the installation.

B. Update site

1. Open Help > Install New Software...
2. When using Galileo: Add the Xtext update site
   •  http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/tmf/updates/releases/
3. Click Add to add the Axdt site to your update manager
   •  http://svn.codespot.com/a/eclipselabs.org/axdt/trunk/site/
4. Finish the installation and restart Eclipse.
